Algonquin College HVAC Retrofit
Replacement of original air handling equipment in an occupied college campus, delivered on a tight summer schedule so students could return on time.
Working for Siemens Canada, Miriton led the retrofit of the original HVAC equipment serving Algonquin College Building C. The work ran from concept analysis and energy analysis through controls design and construction review, in close coordination with the architectural firm.
The schedule was fixed: work had to finish before students returned at the end of summer. Miriton delivered it with no delays. We later designed the electrical and fire alarm scope for further air handling unit replacements, and the HVAC retrofit of Building B.
