From complex public buildings to Ontario’s next generation of housing
Miriton was founded in Ottawa in 1997 to provide complete mechanical and electrical engineering services for buildings. For nearly three decades we have delivered projects where the stakes were high: occupied federal buildings, a national research laboratory, data centres, college campuses and heritage landmarks.
We have also designed residential buildings, industrial facilities, offices and commercial projects for private developers and contractors across Eastern Ontario. Today we are bringing that same rigour to Ontario’s builders and developers, from our Ottawa head office and our GTA office in Durham Region.
Environmental services, including Phase I ESAs and indoor air quality, are provided by our sister company, InAir Environmental.

Secret security clearance through PSPC’s Contract Security Program, plus RCMP clearance.

Certificate of Authorization to practise engineering in every Canadian province, with an Ontario focus.
Sustainability credentials
LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Energy Manager on staff.
Code expertise
Licensed P.Eng. engineers and a BCIN-qualified technologist. We design to the OBC, NBC, NECB, ASHRAE and OESC.

Ralph Siciliano
Ralph leads Miriton’s mechanical engineering and is the main client contact on major projects. He is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED Accredited Professional, and has led HVAC retrofits, energy sub-metering and permit-to-occupancy fit-ups valued up to $950,000 in construction.
Andrei Bosca
Andrei worked as an installing electrician and then as a Master Electrician for seven years before moving into engineering. He leads Miriton’s electrical design, including lighting, fire alarm, emergency power and distribution, with drawings built around how systems actually get installed.
Farzad Hatam Ardestani
Farzad manages projects from kickoff to close-out, coordinating the design team, sub-consultants and specialty contractors. His work spans condition assessments, feasibility studies, HVAC, plumbing and controls design, and air balancing.
Terry Barber
Terry holds Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) qualifications and studied civil engineering at the University of Ottawa and architectural technology at Algonquin College. He leads architectural, building envelope and accessibility work, including the complete contract documents for a new, fully accessible border crossing building.
Josac Marcotte
Josac handles site surveys, mechanical design, code analysis, cost estimates and construction support. His work ranges from clean rooms to heritage sites, and he keeps critical-path items on schedule.
Soheil Yazdani
Soheil has designed building services for many of Miriton’s private-sector new builds, including residential buildings for Ottawa developers and home builders, industrial facilities, offices and a seniors residence.
Roland Ding
Roland brings four decades of HVAC and plumbing design and CADD experience, from library and community centre heat pump replacements to building condition assessments across 43 housing buildings.
Tonni Deb
Tonni produces CADD drawings, supports site surveys and prepares as-built records across government, restaurant and commercial projects.
